Anti-inflammatories are harmful to our liver, kidneys and GI systems. Surgery creates scar tissue and adhesions and anesthesia is harmful to our brains. Adjustments often create hypermobilites. And even if it is covered under insurance your time should not be wasted on unprecise, ineffective exercises and stretches, some of which often are further driving your problems and muscle imbalances.

Old falls, injuries, surgeries, and too much sitting all result in the loss of movement at our joints and tissues. As we continue to move, this drives the need for the body to compensate in other areas of the body resulting in increased strain that eventually  becomes painful and degenerative. 

Our bodies were made to work as a WHOLE:

EVERYTHING working together to keep our joints protected while we move through life with strength and ease.

 

Stretching is only temporary.  

Most "core" exercises are actually not addressing the true core and often further driving muscle imbalances and straining vulnerable areas.

And most people and well intended practitioners are only looking at one area of the body.

My work is built on the belief that the body is beautifully interconnected - and when you understand its structure, you can restore its function.

I notice patterns and trends of the patients who seek help for all types of pain and injuries. While there are unique and specific injuries that need to be addressed, there are common themes of muscle, tissue, and joint imbalance that I find. Bodies have become disconnected, that is, muscles, joints, and body parts are not working together as a whole.

This work continues to keep me keep my back, knees, neck and shoulders health, after restoring my body from old injuries, back pain, neck pain, plantar fasciitis, and shoulder pain.

In the clinic, we are able to make significantly faster progress when my patients have mastered these concepts.
